POSITION DESCRIPTION: COMPUTER SECURITY SYSTEMS ANALYST (HONOLULU)

Referentia Systems Incorporated is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to be part of a cutting-edge engineering team to test and evaluate innovative and adaptive cyber security strategies for the Department of Defense.

Plays a lead role in providing technical expertise in the areas of Information Assurance (IA),  and Computer Network Defense (CND) through the development and evaluation of innovative security tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP).


Duties:

• Provides security system engineering tasks in relation to IA, and CND for joint military test and assessment operations.  

Responsibilities include:

• System/security requirements analysis, risk assessment, security design and system definition, and assisting in the development of adaptive cyber TTP as it applies to the mission.

• Helps develop test plans and critical reports in testing and evaluation of these TTP.
• Provides technical support and guidance to the test team in a wide range of security issues including Virtual Security Enclave (VSE) architecture, firewalls, and network access .



Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in a related technical field.

• Thorough understanding of security issues and problems related to the access of data, systems, software, hardware, and the network.

• Good understanding of network and operational security best practices including areas of information assurance (IA), information security, or computer network defense (CND).

• Certifications in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M: CISSP, CompTIA - Security +, ISSEP and/or CEH. DAWIA certifications related to this work are considered highly beneficial.

• Experience with Virtual Secure Enclave (VSE), the Host Based Security System (HBSS), and associated tactics development are desired.

• Ability to manage customer expectations, communicate to peers, and construct approach plans through verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, quick learning self-starter.

• Ability to manage time and work independently with little supervision.

• Must be able to obtain security clearance.
