Job Title and Description:
.Net Developer
We seek an experienced .NET Developer to start work immediately. This is a contract engagement with a tight schedule and deadline. The project is expected to be complete within 2-4 months; however the work may be extended and could develop into full-time employment.
You must be able to work nearly full-time on this project and be able to attend regular project meetings in-person in Berkeley, CA or Honolulu, HI.
Major responsibilities include:
• Programming web pages and modules
• Designing databases and developing stored procedures
• Addressing cross-browser design issues
Minimum requirements include:
• At least five years of experience and ability to hit the ground running.
• Strong background in web development and web technologies with in-depth knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies. Advanced experience programming in ASP.NET and C#,
• Proficient in designing databases and developing stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server,
• Familiarity utilizing HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and
• Expertise addressing cross-browser design issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral),
• Acute attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality,
• Motivated and self-starting, with ability to work with minimal guidance and direction,
• Familiar with and/or interested in education-related issues or practices.
• Familiarity with statistics and large datasets.
