Job Title and Description:
Java Developer

We are seeking an experience Java Developer to start work immediately. This is a contract engagement with a tight schedule and deadline. The project is expected to be complete within 2-4 months. You must be able to work nearly full-time and attend regular project meetings in-person in Berkeley, CA or Honolulu, HI. Only candidates local to those areas will be considered. Experience with JReports from JInfonet is highly preferred.

Major responsibilities include:
• Programming web pages and modules using JReport from JInfonet
• Addressing cross-browser design issues
• Configuration of WebLogic Application Server

Minimum requirements include:
• At least five years of Java experience and the ability to hit the ground running
• Strong background in web development and web technologies with in-depth knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies
• Expertise in Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), Java Server Faces (JSF), and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
• Experience with Oracle JDeveloper
• Familiarity with WebLogic Application Server
• Expertise in coding HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Expertise addressing cross-browser design issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Acute attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
• Motivated and self-starting, with ability to work with minimal guidance and direction
