Job Title and Description:
Oracle DBA (Active Secret clearance required)

STG Inc. is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator with experience in SQL and an active secret clearance. The Orad Database Administrator will be responsible for:

1)Develop custom databases and custom applications to provide the 4th Signal Center command with situational awareness and operations support.
2)Implement security upgrades into legacy applications for DOD STIG compliance
3)Provide AD-HOC report generation for the customer through the creation of custom database queries
4)Maintain documentation and source code libraries
5)Maintain applications and backend application/web server’s operability via custom monitoring scripts.
6)Implement bug fixes and functional enhancements to existing custom applications
7)Provide script creation for batch data loads/dumps/backups
8)Serve as backup for the Webmaster and Oracle DBA

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Final SECRET Clearance required at time of hire. CISSP required within 6 months of employment.

- Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL, PHP, Perl, Java, J2EE, C#, .NET, web application development(Javascript, CSS, HTML, XML)
- Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL ad-hoc query generation
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux, UNIX shell scripting, windows
batch scripting, proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Familiarity with software development STIG a plus, familiarity with Apache/Tomcat administration a plus
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Eclipse IDE, SQL PLUS, TOAD, vi, Relational Database Schema design, a plus
